Vacations from Hell


Another entry in the “from hell” collection, this time around the theme of vacations, specifically centered around young adults. I love short stories, and, as may be apparent by now, supernatural ones in particular. I haven’t read anything from these five authors before, which makes it all the more enjoyable for me. I’m also noticing that the “from hell” collections that I’ve read and enjoyed most are the ones that are geared to young adults.

The Hollows is a suburb of Cincinnati that is populated by some humans and a lot of supernaturals, called Inderlanders.  Kim Harrison brings us an alternate reality where humans discover they have been living side by side with Inderlanders for centuries.
